Our Journey
In November 1979, Brian and Dulcie Spicer laid the foundation for S & S Services at a humble spot in Sandyford Toll, Ayr. Witnessing a swift expansion in our client base, we soon outgrew our initial location, prompting a move to Mossblown, where Brian and Dulcie’s son, John, joined the family venture. Over almost two decades, we dedicated ourselves to selling and servicing cars, cultivating numerous friendships. The family bond strengthened when John’s wife, Lesley, joined the business in 1997.
Approaching the end of the nineties, our flourishing enterprise necessitated a larger space, leading to plans for an advanced showroom and workshop in Ayr. These plans materialized, and by September 2000, S & S Services proudly relocated to Old Bridge Road, Ayr. Our ascent reached new heights, establishing S & S as the leading Subaru dealer in the UK.
